We needed a new clock for the studio, so the team at Avooq decided to re-purpose the office Playstation 1 console (not working of course). The rejuvenated console now gives us the present time and reminds us of all them past childhood memories with classic psx games.
You can now make the Wall Clock with the PS1 dial numbers that replace 12, 3, 6 and 9 on the clock face - refer to the images above. You will need the following to assemble the clock: 1. Clock Hands - can be sourced on Ebay for about $2 AU. 2. 1 blank DVD disc. 3. 1 PS1 console (broken or working). 4. All the printed components found here. We have created a printable cradle for the clock hands that allows easy removal of the clock mechanism for changing of batteries and time - refer to the YouTube video. Enjoy and let us know what you think.
Print at 0.15 mm layer height, with 20 % infill. This uses 37g of filament and takes 223 minutes.
