Fancy some Flamenco this evening? Why not print some of your own and have a dance to the rythm of these percussion instruments? No previous musical experience required - just tap the two shells together to produce a clickety clacky beat.
The Castanets date back to the Ottoman Empire but have since been adopted by Spanish, Sephardic, Swiss and Portugese music cultures. It is a basic percussive instrument used to create mid to high range tapping and clicking sounds.
Printed at 0.15 Resolution with 50% Infill. This took 2 Hours 35 Minutes. Place two of the provided STL files in your slicing software and orientate them with the flat most area against the bed. This removes the need for support. The parts are joined using Ninjaflex filament with the two ends fused together with heat - but you can use rubber bands, strings or whatever is available to you.
