Officially Extinct in early 2000 & 2003.
Capra pyrenaica pyrenaica, commonly known as the Pyrenean ibex or bucardo, was a subspecies of the Spanish ibex native to the Pyrenees mountain range.
They were known for their distinctive curved horns that could grow up to a meter in length.
Unfortunately, the last known Pyrenean ibex died in 2000, making them officially extinct. Although the Pyrenean Ibex cloning project managed to create a close using DNA from preserved tissue samples, the cloned Ibex died shortly after birth making it the only animal in history to go extinct twice.
Model includes a Pre-supported version.
The model is sized for 1:24 of the actual size. You can reduce or enlarge the model using the slicing software if you need a different size.
Pre-supported model is oriented to minimize supports to the face and other high-detail parts. Care should be taken when removing the supports to avoid damaging the model.
