The Dot clock uses small components to allow for a bigger clock than a print bed is able to produce. The file comes with individual stl components so you can customize the clock filiment colours as you wish. You will need to purchase a Quartz clock mechanism but these can be easily found for about £1/$2 - £2/$3.75
We suggest printing both the hands on the same run at an angle to the bed if you need to. Then the plate and 12 segments in another run. You will need to buy a quartz clock to stick onto the back but these are very common and inexpensive, the type you are looking for can be found in the preview images. Once it's ready to be mounted onto the wall start by marking out the center of the clock's axis using a pencil, then add in the 12,3,6,9 quarter segments followed by the rest as it makes this easier to divide up the space. Alternatively if you have a 30/60 set square you can sketch out the angles and place the tiles 150mm away from the center of the clock. Filament used – 46g Time taken – 3/4 hours
